PIP and retirement age was created by celj
A client who is on PIP DL standard rate has put in for a re-assessment, but he has now passed the retirement age.
If he gets extra points for DL will he still be able to get Enhanced rate?
If he gets additional points for mobility (previously awarded 4) will he get a mobility award?
If he loses his current award will he still be able to appeal?
Thanks .

On the assumption that you mean State Retirement Age.

Yes, they can receive the higher rate for Daily Living there is no restriction on this.

If they do not already have a Mobility award then one cannot be made once they have reached SRA, even if they meet the criteria for one but it is still worth their detailing any problems that they have as it may assist them to score for the DL component.

They have their normal right of appeal.
