GPS refused to fill in your ADL form saying that they have no evidence of how I function at home. They in Crewe area and dishonestly kept me waiting for several weeks saying they were filling form in.I have fibromyalgia chronic fatigue and chronic migraine.I am awaiting tribunal and I wanted GPS who has recently prescribed gabepentin to provide evidence of how my exhaustion fatigue with dizziness is affecting me.I recently saw neurologist who added chronic migraine to my other conditions.
The GPS who said I had great report from neurologist to help with tribunal not backing me.I have no benefits coming in and rely on my NHS pension.I am fortunate as I am very unwell but GPS would have me living on fresh air.
I have now got an appointment to see rheumatologist at short notice privately as need evidence urgently.

Hi Cforrest

I'm sorry to hear about your GP, but try not to let that get you down. I know plenty of people who have been awarded PIP with no evidence from a GP.

Cforrest I provided DWP with appointment letters and diagnosis reports from my MS medical team so therefore there was no need to get any support from my GP. I still got a PIP award :-)

Cforrest, I understand your frustration with this, but unfortunately the GPs are right in that they generally can't provide evidence of how your conditions affect you at home in relation to the descriptors because they aren't there, so generally don't know about it. At best, they could perhaps say "Cforrest tells me that xyz happens...", but that's not really very much help when presumably you've already told the DWP that anyway.

As others, say, many people have got awards without support from their GP. Good luck with your trip to the rheumatologist.
