Hi,
My ESA reassessment date has passed and I haven't received a ESA50 or anything about attending a face-to-face assessment. I thought normally they sent the ESA50 well before the reassessment date. Is there a backlog or something?

There are no reported delays in initiating the assessment process, there is considerable variation in wait times for the actual interviews but we have not seen this influence the DWP in starting the process.
All I can suggest is that you contact the DWP for an update.
Your ESA will remain in payment until a new Decision is made so you do not need to take any action if you do not want to.

Hi Cats,
I was told my ESA was due for revue on 17th of December.
When I rang to settle myself over Christmas (worrying about dodgy brown envelopes over the festive period) I was then told that NO date was on the system!
I have still heard nothing and payment has continued.
I keep reading posts like yours and wonder if the DWP are doing something without making it public, or it's a backlog.
I don't suppose we will ever know for certain.
