Pip renewal was created by officegirl
Hi sorry if already been covered. Received a letter to applyfor pip renewal. My award ends in August. I have rheumatoid arthritis but thankfully have been in remission although I have joint deformity in my hands and feet. Unfortunately I am now in a middle of a flare up as one of my meds has been stopped. Is it worth me still applying as I dont think I can face the medicals again as it gave me such anxiety last time. Thank you for any hwlp

Hi mandy
Only you can answer that question, if you do not apply then your claim will stop in August.
If you follow the link below it will tell you what you need to know about completing the PIP review.

Thank you. If I do fill in the renewal form and need a ftf interview, would it be just before my reward ends (ie August) or would it be weeks within receiving the form? If I lost the benefit wd I still get it until August? Sorry very inarticulate I know!
Grateful for any advice

I'm afraid I need to correct Gary, if you do not return the form then your claim will be terminated from the date that it is required to be returned.
There are regional variations in the time before a face to face is booked but I would expect you to receive an appointment within 3-4 weeks of returning the form, assuming one is required.
