I had my PIP assessment last Tuesday & requested a copy of my assessment report done by an ATOS nurse Some things were wrong she stated that I could drive and scored zero, I dont even have a licence, I told her my husband was the driver so that question was wrong. She scored me 9 for care and 12 for mobility, what is the likelihood of me getting an award once the DWP look at it and send me my PIP results.
You have a small window of opportunity to write to the Decision Maker now before the decision comes out, should you wish to challenge the report.
If the decision maker follows the assessor's advice you would be awarded enhanced for mobility and standard for care, but until you receive the decision you cannot be sure. The decision-makers often do follow the word of the assessor but not always so don't count on it.
