Hello, well that is it, completed and returned How your disability affects you form along with a lot of evidence. The office should receive my information today by 1pm, special delivery. I live in the Lincolnshire area and therefore I believe it will be Capita who looks into my claim. Does anyone have any idea how long it will be before I will have to have an assessment. It would be useful to have an idea.

It is almost impossible for anyone to give accurate details at the moment, even if someone comes from the same area as you. You would normally expect to hear within 2 - 4 weeks with the assessment coming sometime after that.

Totally different area (South Wales) but my wife received her notice to transfer from DLA to PIP in September 2019..submitted paperwork end of October 2019..Home F2F PIP assessment 17th Dec 2019 (two weeks notice given for that)... 9 weeks tomorrow since the assessment and we are still awaiting DWP`s decision..on tenderhooks!! Good luck with your claim.......

Thank you Biz and Paul for your input. Paul, I hope your wife hears soon and gets what she is entitled to. I am at the early stages so guess I will have a while to wait yet.
