Finally received a decision regarding application was created by Ketomum
Good afternoon all,
I just want to come and give you all an update on my daughters PIP application. All-day I had this niggling feeling to call to see if a decision had been made but I just decided no I will wait until the end of the week, but the feeling wouldn't go. So I decided to call this afternoon.
I was expecting to hear the same old message that it was still with the DM but this time it was a different message. "Yes a decision was made on the 16/02/2020 on Sunday, would you like me to read the decision over the phone?" I said, "yes please"!!.
My daughter has been awarded Enhanced payments on both elements of PIP for an ongoing period.
I am just so happy that my daughter will get what she is entitled to and hopefully my stress levels will now begin to regulate because it's not an easy process to go through.
I want to thank everyone on here who has shared their stories and also given advice it really has been a really big help to get through this process.
Thanks, Ketomum

Hello Ketomum.
Your happiness has put a smile on my face at least. I received my 'Invitation' to transfer from DLA to PIP on Tuesday 13 August 2019. I had my F2F on Wednesday 11 December 2019. I requested a copy of the Assessment Report on 18 December 2019 and received it on 28 December 2019. After reading the 24 pages, I corrected the inaccurate information and referenced omissions made by both myself and the assessor. I returned it to the Decision Maker and asked them to consider the information I supplied, which for some reason had not been considered before they made their final decision. That was on 13 January 2020 and I am still waiting. I am trying to think positive thoughts and reading the success stories being shared on the forum here. Again, I am just so pleased for you. Sx
