No F2F was created by Chris
I am in the ESA support group and currently being reviewed.
MAXIMUS sent me a date for my F2F at their assessment centre,
even though I sent supporting evidence for a home visit (which I have allways had because of my conditions).

I cancelled the first appointment to get a second doctors letter to request a home visit as they said the first letter was too old.
After they had received the second letter they cancelled the rearranged apointment and have now informed me I will not have a home visit or have to attend their centre and my file has been sent back to the DWP.

Does this mean they will stop my ESA or will they be doing a paper based assesment?

Thank you for any advice :)

They are saying that if you do not attend this new appointment then the treat you as failing to attend, the normal response from the DWP is to close the claim.

Your GP letter was obviously insufficient, was it unambiguous about your problems with attending? Is there any other reason why a home assessment would not be booked? Do you have any violent tendencies documented?

I would speak to your GP about the letter and involve your MP
