ESA Window result was created by ukLee
Currently awaiting results from DLA to PIP transfer result.
I received a review form for ESA (I'm currently in the support group) returned the form back in Jan 20 and have heard nothing back. The benefit is still being paid.
Is there an 'average window' period to wait? Once the form is returned does this go to a DM? Would the DWP for ESA be waiting to see the DLA - PIP result?
Al the waiting causing a lotis of stress and worry. Why do the DWP not have less people accessed to allow the DM to process claims in a more timely manner?

Hi ukLee
Am I correct in assuming that you have not yet had an assessment for PIP?
ESA, I'm afraid there is considerable variation in wait time, some member report weeks and others have waited six months or more, you can contact Maximus for an update but you don't have to, your current award will remain in payment until a new Decision is made.

Hi ukLee
The letter is a standard one, I would contact DWP and ask for a copy of the assessors report to get the heads up.
There is a small window for you to write to the Decision Maker if you find anything in the report that was not accurate or missing but you will need to be quick. If you are happy with the report then you do not need to do anything, just keep it for your record.
