Unplanned intervention was created by dianeelizabeth
I was awarded pip enhanced rate for 4 yrs due to end 16 jan 2021.I got a form through thanks for reporting a change of circumstances which I hadn't. When o called pip the said it had an unplanned intervention note on saying I had reported a change in circumstances I have not. She then went away to check with manager and said it was sent because it was a renewal and that the covering letter was a mistake, and that it's just a renewal form . The form what was sent is a how your disability affects you form not a renewal . She said it's a similar form to just fill that one in ..Is this right for them to do this I am worried

Hi diannelizabeth
The form you have is ‘How your disability affects you' (PIP2)
This form you should have is called the PIP Award Review form or the AR1 form
The person you spoke to is talking rubbish. It is not the same form at all, and if you can ring again I would insist on the correct form being sent out. The review form actually asks you to say how your condition has changed and there is no need for you to send all the same evidence again. (It is much shorter) So if you are able to bear it - ring again - insist on them sending the correct form and if they won't, say you want to speak to a senior case manager and ask them to put in writing that this is a review and not a change of circumstances. I would also say that you are going to put in a letter of complaint about the added stress which is entirely their fault.
