PIP Review response in less than 3 weeks.

I returned my completed PIP Review form by recorded delivery and it arrived at the DWP offices on 31st January (confirmed on Royal Mail website) - a couple of weeks before it was due. I di don't submit any additional supporting evidence (e.g. physio reports) but gave permission to contact my GP.
Today I received a letter from the DWP saying that they have looked at my PIP and will continue to award the same rate (as expected since my health status has not altered) for an ongoing period. Their letter is dated 18 February.

Of course, I'm very happy that the award will now continue indefinitely without the need for another health assessment. However, I'm also astonished that my review was processed so quickly. Is 19 days a record - or has anyone here received a DWP notification sooner than this?

Hi dalega23

So pleased to hear of your successful PIP review. You're not quite the fastest person I have heard of, but almost. It is however, as you know very unusual for them to be that quick. Great news
