had assessment today - how to send additional resu was created by headabovethewater
Sorry if in wrong place. I've had help from cab to fill pip form out and had home assesment today. Nurse from capita, I think it went ok but am under no illusions. I received recent mri and urology results after sending pip off. Illness not changed but just adds to the mass of proof. She took a note of mri date and asked to to send it to dwp. Do i just add a note with it? Will it delay things further? She said wait is 8weeks but I will hear sooner.

Yes, include a covering letter, make sure you include your full name and National Insurance Number on each page of the report.

Thank you have done that. Also what is the advice while waiting for the decision? I read somewhere you can request the assessors notes? How do you do it and assessment was yesterday how long should I leave it to request? She was friendly for anyone due an assesment but she disnt go thru the form as I thought she would. It was all tapping on laptop. Thankfully she had read my supporting evidence and had a good understanding of what I'm dealing with. She didnt actually check my bathroom for rails as I thought she would. - but who knows what shes written!

Hi Headabovethewater.

The assessor is supposed to upload a claimant's file within 48 hours, so you can ring on Monday and ask for a copy.

Assessors don't look around people's houses. Not all assessors read the claimant's notes before the assessment, but if they do - as yours did, they tend to ask fewer questions as they have familiarised themselves with the case.
