Capita Complaint was created by Bud
Hi
I emailed a complaint to Capita about my assessment report, they replied & said that they can't do anything about it as it's been sent back to DWP. Is this correct do you know or have they lied yet again? I've complained again to them anyway for safe measure.
I've also complained to DWP in a letter, but heard nothing back yet since my assessment mid November.
Thanks.

Hi Bud
No they haven't lied. If you have problems with the assessment report, it's dealt with in the first instance by the DWP.

Hi BIS
Thanks for that. I did send a letter to DWP after I got the assessors report. Should I send an official complaint too?

Hi Bud
If you have the energy to do so, an official complaint can sometimes help.

Sorry about the 2 posts, I’ve been having trouble with stuff not posting in general, (not on here) & thought the worst.
Would there be any point do you think or is it just wasted energy?
Thanks BIS

Hi Bud
Don't worry about the two posts. I didn't want to cut one because you said slightly different things on them.
I honestly can't say whether it's worth it to complain. Some people just get a standard reply and it's not really any help, however, there have been several people reporting success in making a complaint and the DWP agreeing that they can have a new assessment, or have reviewed their award. Not saying that will be the same for you. That's why I think it comes down to how much mental and physical energy and will to pursue it.
