Hi folks, Advice needed if possible,i applied for PIP myself last march,i was on DLA low rate care high rate mobility, done the face to face and got daily living and low rate mobility.I've had 5 deaths in this time and major changes in health.I went to CAB and they wrote me a letter on the 6th Feb this year against the mobility award with an MRI report from my consultant and medication changes,my Mental Health meds have been changed as well,i got atxt from DWP saying they have received my MC letter.Ihave now found the Doctors paper work who got me the life time award in 2007,is this worth forwarding or is it in admissible?I have the HCP ie nurse's or the MC decision letter which is mostly false imo,i got 9 points in the care part and 10 in mobility should I ask for an MC for the whole lot as I'm not happy with the whole decision?any advice will be appreciated.
It is up to you whether you forward your doctor's old letter, but the DWP generally like new evidence that is no later than three years old. If you are sending it, you would need to show, what was written, then is just as relevant today.
If the DWP is already doing an MR, they will look at your entire award as standard practice. You can always clarify this with them over the telephone, but you may want to add any additional evidence or ensure you have argued sufficiently against the assessor's report.
