Well that's my MR posted off to WR, I do hope they haven't got to check it all. I feel physically & mentally drained now, so I'll take a few days off & then make a start on the tribunal. Due to me getting no points I'm not expecting them to suddenly give me the 10 that I previously had, or even 8, in fact I'm still not even expecting 2 for bladder cancer. So what I'd like to know is do I have to submit all the same evidence again to the tribunal or should DWP send this on to them? Thanks.

Hi Bud

When you get the appeal bundle you can check if all the evidence you sent in is in the bundle, any that are not then send it to HMCTS and not DWP. If you have additional supporting documents then send it to HMCTS, they will forward any additional evidence they receive to DWP, they will also send you copies, you will note that these documents will have numbers on them so that you can add them to your bundle.

Thanks Gary.

I was originally going to send a covering letter, very similar to the one that I sent for my MR but changing a few bits & pieces. Would you advise this as I don't want the tribunal to have to keep reading the same thing, with a risk of them not reading it as they think it's the same letter which they may have already read for MR?

Thanks.

Bud

If you want to appeal a Decision then you must either complete an SSCS1 form or request the appeal via the Tribunal Service's online system.

www.gov.uk/appeal-benefit-decision

Our appeal guides explain the process and have links to the form. The Submissions document has completed examples of the form.
