After a very shaky start to my pip form I’m pleased to say that I only have question 14 a and b left to do. I’m struggling to know what boxes to tick because yes I can walk , but any distance is painful for me . Even moving from one room to another I’m in pain . So what would be the best box to tick please for 14a ? Also 14b - I don’t use any aids because even if I did the pain would still be there , and probably more noticeable in my upper body . So confusing, any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you Karen
You are not required t walk pain free but any pain that limits the distance that you can walk should be considered, your need to be able to walk the distance "reliably" and on the "majority of days". these terms are defined in our PIP Claim guide.
If you don't use an aid then say so, it may not really matter as only one of the Moving Around Descriptors takes aids into account.
