Mandatory reconsideration was created by Chester64
Requested a reconsideration in September 2019, Wrote to DWP and our MP start of Feb to ask what's is going on, surprise the notice drops through the letterbox last week, declined, so look at appeal process online to register and it asks for date on letter and its dated 7th November 2019, and was supposed to include copy of assessment report. 1 month from date to appeal! Phone DWP 45 mins wait then when get through, " looks like somebody forgot to put it in the post", Nothing to do with receiving our letter 2 days before then! Anybody else experienced this?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

The assessment report is not automatically sent to the claimant even with the MR Notice.
Did you request it be sent?

I requested the report when asking for the mandatory reconsideration along with other information I thought relevant. I submitted a Freedom of information request, which the DWP have ignored . I complained to the information commissioner that they had not met the time limit to disclose, they took 2 months to reply and said, "we are aware that the DWP are a bit busy at the Minute and we are working with them to help them going forward" . It is an absolute travesty. whats the point of having a time limit if it can be ignored when it is the DWP or other govt agency who breach it! I wanted the report before asking for the MR, but there was no way I was going to get it before the deadline. The MR went back on the 28th Sept 2019 and I still haven't got it.
