Should I include? was created by traceytracey
Hi all,
I am waiting for my PIP2 form (I won appeal 3 years ago and have to re-apply) I wondered if i should :-
(1) Include a copy of my previous tribunal decision?
(2) Include a copy of the summary page of my CB ESA support group decision.?
(3) I cannot follow an unfamiliar journey without another person due to anxiety however I have a bus pass which allows a companion to travel with me, should I include this as I am sure I read somewhere something about points not being awarded if you can travel by bus? is this true even if you have to have a companion?
Any advice would be much appreciated

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

1. Yes, this is a good idea.
2. You can but you must explain why it is relevant to your PIP claim, there's a document in the PIP area that shows the areas where we think that the two benefits overlap.
3. The legally defined Descriptors for the Going Out activity make no reference to the use of Public Transport so you cannot rely on this being a reason to score points. If you do not have sensory or cognitive problems then you will need to show that you would suffer "overwhelming psychological distress" and that this OPD prevents you from following a route, anxiety may not be sufficient to meet this requirement.
