GP Support Letter With PIP2, Or Not? was created by angel153
Hi everyone,

I thought I’d posted this earlier, but I must have not pressed the right button, because I can’t see it on here.

I’m confused about whether or not to include a current letter of support from my GP or not. I’ve seen official guidance online that says claimants are told NOT to supply one, but I’ve seen other guides that say DO add one in.

My GP is under the impression that the rules about these letters have now changed, and that she has to wait for the DWP or whoever to contact her for info.

If I do get one, will they count it as evidence, even if they want to contact my GP anyway?

Thanks in advance,
Angel153
