Medical 1 1/2 years after cancelled appointment was created by Blodyn
Got a letter today saying my ESA Health Assessment has been rescheduled from 31st October 2018 to 1st April 2020. Has anyone else had this long wait and still continued receiving ESA? If so is this correct or should I have had a new form to fill in. My concern is that it’s only a short time away and I will need to get more stuff together. Really just feeling a bit of a loss as what to do about this.

ESA is an indefinite award with regular reassessment so your current award will remain in payment until a new Decision is made.
Have your conditions and limitations changed since you last completed an ESA50? If they have then I would write a letter detailing the changes, stick to the same format as the ESA50. If there is time send a copy to Maximus/CHDA/HAAS, take a copy to the assessment and ask the assessor to read it before they start the interview and send a copy to the DWP office dealing with your claim.

Thank you, that gives me a way forward, I couldn’t think of how to deal with it due to the time lapse; also still getting over finishing PIP mandatory consideration so it was a bit of a OMG situation to receive that letter today. Will follow all those steps and go through the guides. Thanks again
