Mandatory Reconsideration was created by Sja75.
I have been awarded lower rate mobility. I received the award which showed which points I was awarded.
Is there another form I could of requested - similar to how the assessor came to the decision following my first initial assessment.
I did this last time after my first decision was made when I received 0 points and used that information to complete the mandatory reconsideration. I know on the reward it shows which points I was awarded and a page explaining how they came to that decision. I’m sure they’s something else I can ask them to send me.
I feel that it would be interesting to have this information.
I hope you can answer my question here.
Many thanks
Sarah

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Indie75
You can ring up and ask for a copy of the assessment report which will detail what the assessor said. Although it should take more than ten days, you may want to ring up now and say that you are going to put in for a mandatory reconsideration, which you need to do within one month of the date on the decision letter.

My apologies I may not have explained my message clearly. I have done the mandatory reconsideration and was awarded 10 points. I am appealing against the mandatory reconsideration.
Is there an assessment that I can view from the mandatory reconsideration decision? Similar to the assessment I got when I was first awarded 0 points.
I want to see how the DM came to their decision on the results from my reconsideration.
Is their such a form, or is it only provided when you make your first claim.
I’ve never applied for DWP ESA or PIP before, so I’m pretty new to this.
Thanks

The Decision Letter is the DM's Statement of Reasons for the Decision, they do not complete any other documentation.
If you have requested an appeal then you will receive a copy of all the documentation used in the making of the Decision.
