Hi my PIP award runs out at the beginning of September this year, so less than 6 months.
I had a letter recently saying that there has been a change in the law regarding carrying out activities safely and it states my award had not been changed, but I have not yet had a letter about my reassessment for PIP that runs out soon.
What should I do?

Hi Jaycie
PIP review forms are being sent out approximately 6 months before the end of a claimant's award date, if you are worried about not receiving any news about your review form then contact DWP and ask, make sure you write down the name of the person whom you talk to.
You can read all about the PIP review process here. You will not need to write as much as before (but as our guide suggests you will want to have something in the boxes or on additional sheets even if there has been no change), but start gathering supporting documents together including any prescription details.

The majority of claimants still have a face to face at the review stage.

Thank you for your reply.
My last award was only for 2 years so the supporting evidence letters are less than 2 years old, would these still be able to be used or will I have to ask consultant etc for new evidence?
As most people know, is not that easy to see GPs etc.

As long as they are still relevant to you then use them and explain why they are still relevant. Assessors always prefer more recent support letters, if you are able to ask consultants for up to date letter then ask, also has your medication changed? if you are still on the same medication then send in the latest repeat prescription list.
