I'm filling in a DLA supersession form for my partner, and Q13 asks where is the toilet and where do you sleep? At the moment, he sleeps downstairs on a bed squashed in the corner of the living room, beause our toilet is downstairs. But this is unsatisfactory, as he really needs to get back to sleeping upstairs in our normal bedroom. But we have put off doing this as he'll then need help (from me) several time a night going to the toilet, as he is unsteady on his feet and will need support walking down the stairs. Should we put that he sleeps downstairs (as that is what he currently does) or should we put that he sleeps upstairs (as that is where the bedroom is,and where he should be sleeping, and hopefully one day soon will be).?
You should tell them the truth and give the explanation just as you have done so here. (Put in on another piece of paper if there is not room in the box)
