Does anyone have any idea if those still waiting to be transferred to PIP will see further delay due to the current situation? As it would involve a face to face assessment for most I think the transfers may stop for now. Any opinions?
No one can be certain what is going to happen. The DWP has said no face to face assessments for three months. Whether this will just be for three months or whether this will be for longer no one knows. Whether they will decide to do some cases without face to face - may be something they will choose to do to prevent a backlog - but who knows? Any thoughts are mere speculation until they announce it.
