Length of pip award was created by NikiB
Hi
I've been awarded enhanced/enhanced pip from 8 April 2020 to 7 July 2022. When can I expect to be contacted again? Any idea. Letter says they'll look at it again after 7 July 2021. In shock I've got to go through this horrendous process again, never mind as soon as this. Thank you

Hi NikiB

Many congratulations on the award and well done.

PIP review forms are being sent out approximately 6 months before the end of a claimant's award date.

You can read all about the PIP review process here. You will not need to write as much as before (but as our guide suggests you will want to have something in the boxes or on additional sheets even if there has been no change).

The majority of claimants still have a face to face at the review stage.

Thank you. B & w site really helped in gathering evidence and explaining what the different criteria actually means, so thanks to b & w.
Really pleased with result as was on dla and was scared they'd knock me back for pip and I'd have to go to a tribunal. Assessor came to my flat and she clearly had a strategy to knock my points back to the one below enhanced, so was surprised I got it without having to appeal. I was on lifetime dla, health conditions won't get better, are progressive so reviewing award a waste of time but guess these private companies still want to rake in the money. By the way, I've suggested (family member is high position in nhs) that the atoms and capita health professionals should be seconded to nhs in current crisis. Scandal that they are still doing assessments whilst the nhs is in dire need of staff. Wish media would name and shame them. All the best. Thank you
