MR Request if decision letter delayed

Received a letter from the DWP saying they had all the info they required on Feb 4 this year, still awaiting the decision letter. If I do need to make an MR request, will it be accepted if it's outside the 4-week window?

I ask given the uncertainty, we are all facing, what happens if a decision is made the letter is sent and say Royal mail are not delivering due to lockdown.

I have no idea is DWP are still working fully or with reduced staff. Are decisions taking even longer now?

The one month starts from the date of the Decision Letter and you can make a Late request up to 13 months after this date providing you are able to provide Good Cause for the request being late.

I think it is reasonable to assume that at least in the next few weeks there will be additional delays in the system until the situation settles, of course, this assumes that no additional restrictions on workers are made.
