Applying for PIP other than on the phone

Is there any way of applying for PIP, other than over the phone? I don't seem to be able to get through.

Hi Andy. posted about this a few weeks ago. My daughter sent a letter, first class, to start the process, as the DWP's own website said she could, on January 6. Six weeks later she had not received the form. I phoned and the advisor said she had never heard of anyone doing this. I said I would advise my daughter to make a complaint to her MP. After putting me on hold while she sought advice the advisor said she would send the form. As my daughter has Asperger's she signed the page giving consent for the DWP to contact her GP but I thought I could sign the form for her. I completed it and sent it back by the date of February 29. I phoned for advice as there was no section asking about her medical condition. I was told that the form I was returning was in the place of the initial phone call and that a second form would be sent. Several weeks later I had received no second form and contacted my daughter's MP. She then contacted the DWP who said they had sent my daughter a form for her to sign to give her consent for me to deal with them. Having an ASD she had not opened the letter. I told her to find, sign and return the form. She found it, signed it and put it in the return envelope intending to post it but is now self-isolating. Luckily we can afford to support her but if you make a claim by post, expect a long wait. I understand the phone call to the DWP is now free. you could always write but keep phoning. Good luck!
