On universal credit my wife gets carers Allowance but they take £286 off our monthly claim but this is more than my wife gets from carers allowance as it is paid weekly, I don’t know why this is taken off our monthly payments?
Also I had pip forms as pip is running out soon which needed to be back by the 6th March, forms were completed and arrived back to them, but have heard nothing since and now with everything about Coronavirus I don’t know what is happening as they have had the forms back?

Peter
UC is paid monthly so the calculation for the Carers Allowance is
£66.15 - CA weekly rate
x 52 - to get annual amount
======
£3439.80
/ 12 - to get monthly rate
======
£286.65
All PIP assessments have been suspended for at least the next three months due to the pandemic, if necessary, your current PIP award will be extended, probably by a year.
