ESA medical was created by Mr E
So around Christmas time I received my ESA50 as I had been in the Support Group for 3 years prior to this, WITHOUT a medical. These people have extremely bad timing, sending this around THAT time to a person with severe anxiety.
This time I filled in the form as last time, very detailed as per usual and as best I could and sent it back. About 2 months later (Feburary) I get the dreaded letter that always makes me sick (My claim is on Mental Health grounds) that I'll need to attend a face to face.
This was before all the lockdowns on Coronavirus. I never felt so stressed and sick in attending. It was a disaster. A complete disaster, although the nurse/doctor was extremely caring and nice.
The waiting period between the assessment and the letter to inform me of the result was also horrifying. For people with anxiety disorders, I don't think they will realise how much distress this can create.
In saying that, I got the result a few weeks ago, and I've been placed in the Support Group again. I guess the reason I'm writing this, for people with mental health conditions (or even physical) to reassure that although the system is complete hell for us, with enough evidence and information on your form you should get what you are entitled to.
I wish you all the best and stay safe.

Hi Mr. B
As awful as it was for you, I am so glad to hear that your assessment had a positive outcome and you remain in the Support Group, Congratulations.
