Re-assessment was created by JojoMuggins
Hello
I’m uncertain about re-assessment.
I’m an appointee for a disabled claimant.
I got a new UC questionnaire in the middle of March with a mid April deadline. Does the announcement that assessments are halted apply to claimants that already received their questionnaire? Should I still meet the return deadline?
Please could you also signpost me to any advice specifically for UC re-assessment, I looked through the manual and couldn’t see anything specific. Is there anything I should know?
Thank you for your invaluable consistent help and support.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi JoJo
The paperwork needs to be returned to the stated deadline.
There is no specific advice regarding reassessment.
If it turns out the claimant has a phone assessment (at some point in the future) - the sorts of questions they may ask can be viewed at the link below.

Thank you BIS
The claimant’s health and circumstances have not changed since the original assessment.
Consequently the answers are the same. Do you think this is a problem? I’m effectively copying the original answers.

Hi Jojo
You can only say it as it is and if the answers are the same so be it.
(My trick is just to use an online thesaurus and exchange some of the words just so it looks as if it is different! You don't have to do this.)
