I had for sometime been doing supported permitted work whilst getting ESA contribution based benefit. Just over 2 weeks ago I stopped doing this work as i was made redundant and the company ceased trading forever. My council support worker is aware of this but she is now unwell so I cant ask her - as we are on lockdown do I need to urgently send a letter to dwp telling them that I am no longer working or can it wait. Thanks

Yes, you need to tell the DWP within 30 days, you can phone but I would still follow it up in writing.
