ESA /straight to support group was created by John
I have been put straight to support group/based on my ESA assessment form/although it was only confirmed when I returned my UC50 form last Friday....I had completed and returned a PIP application in December and have not heard anything with regard to the PIP application which was done by my local CAB office, ! Should I be persuing an answer to the PIP application now that I am in the support group?

You can send the PIP department information about your ESA award but you will need to show the relevance of it to the PIP activities, there is a document in the PIP area that show the areas of overlap between the two benefits.

Thanks for quick reply, I feel myself growing where benefits are concerned and hopefully joining here for a year will accelerate the support I know I will need.I don't feel as if I was assertive enough in the PIP application as I was trying to stabilise myself on benefits after leaving work, its a minefield for the not too sure type like me, as I said I am up for the mandatory and appeal process if I fail on the initial form, Thanks Gordon-go gently mate and keep up the good work-john
