ESA and Direct Payments was created by Rose
My adult child's Care Manager did an annual review (by phone, which worked well) then we received a letter from the county council finance department indicating that nearly £100 per month was now to be paid by us into her Direct Payments account.whereas previously it was a tenth of that. Benefits received are DLA highest rate for care and lower for mobility and the ESA support group. Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of why this may have happened and who I can contact to query it.

They have obviously decided that her care needs have increased, I would think that the person to contact would be her Care Manager.
