I received my PIP renewal form Dec 19 to be returned 2 Jan 2020 which I duly did. After a lot of sweat and tears I might add. I received SMS text in early Feb 20 saying they received the forms and would contact me again if further info was required. Since then.....nothing! I am still being paid at my original award rates but am puzzled by the lack of correspondence and/or decision. As my claim was being looked at in early Feb ,at least a month before Coronavirus/lockdown became an issue I am wondering if my award has been extended due to current restrictions. Am unsure whether to telephone DWP or not due to anxiety level/depression causing health issues.
I moved your post, because we ask people to start new threads when they have questions or there's a danger several people's queries get muddled with each other
Even before the current medical crisis, the DWP were behind with cases (even though they didn't publicly declare it). I cannot say what is happening to your case but we know they said they weren't doing reviews for three months. Yours was in just before this and they may decide to do a paper-based or telephone review. The only way you will know is to sit and wait or try and ring them. Waiting times on the telephone are lengthy.
