Peter
You can chase your Change with the Assessment Provider for your postcode.
www.gov.uk/government/publications/pip-postcode-map-uk
Capita
capita-pip.co.uk/en/contact.html
IAS (formerly ATOS)
www.mypipassessment.co.uk/contact-us/
But it is likely that you are simply in a query waiting for someone to look at your file.
I would make it clear that you would struggle to hear on a telephone assessment and that a Paper Based Review would be more appropriate but it is possible that some sort of assessment will be required and you may be delaying your review until face to face assessments can again take place.
Is there anybody who could be available for the call who could then relay the assessor's question to you?
We have just updated our PIP Claim guide with more information about telephone assessments.

Hi Peter
If they do contact you for a phone assessment, I really would reiterate that being hard of hearing it's not possible for you to fairly take part, particularly in these current circumstances.
