Mandatory Reconsideration was created by Jan1955
Is it possible to do a MR for just one part of PIP ? or do they look at all the award ? if so can you post the link for any templates. The medical assessor made a lot of assumtions, I know its unwise to mention the medical assessor but if they did not record the facts correctly how do I word the MR, do I just say I was awarded that score when it should have been this,I am a bit confused.
Thanks

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

I'm afraid you cannot limit an MR to only one of the PIP components.
There are guides to requesting an MR and dealing with the report in our PIP section under "appeals".
If you have any specific questions then please come back to the forum and we will do our best to help.

Hi Gordon
I have had a read of the guide dealing with MR and appeals came across the statement below.
If you need a wheelchair to move around, that counts as not being able move around
for the purposes of the PIP test.
How many points for the Moving Around Section would that achieve if any.
Thank You

It would score you the 12 points needed for an Enhanced award but understand, the test is not whether the claimant uses a wheelchair, it is whether they can reliably stand and then how far they can reliably move (walk) on the majority of days.
