hi
I posted before about my Sons PIP award and that he had been awarded no points after having been on high rate care and mobility.
We were waiting for the MR to come through and it was taking a long time.
I had sent in extra information from the mental health team.
Well he has had a decision today and he has been awarded low rate on both components. I still don't think that this is correct.
As I understand if I ask for it to be looked at again, if indeed this is possible I risk them changing it back down again. Can you ask for another MR or does it have to go to tribunal.
Thanks

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Congratulations on getting the Decision revised, well done.
If this Decision was the result of an MR then you will need to request an appeal for a higher award.
You could ask the DWP to look at it again but hey are not legally required to do so and in the current situation I think it unlikely that they will.
