Hi there,
I wonder if you could give me some advice. Would I lose my entitlement to Universal Credit support group and PIP entitlement if I moved in with my girlfriend who is also claiming Universal Credit? It appears we would have to claim as a couple and start a new claim. I went to two tribunals and won them both. Being put in the support group for Universal credit and receiving £717 pounds a month with deductions and also receiving PIP £443 a month. Would I automatically lose any entitlement to my Universal Credit and PIP, even after going to a tribunal for both and winning. Or would these carry over? A judge ordered these entitlements and I am scared of losing them. Any advice would be grateful. Thanks

You will need to claim as a couple, as long as your partner is not claiming as being unfit for work then you will retain your LCWRA status, if they are then you will need to decide between you whose award is carried forward.

Your PIP will not be affected and will not affect the UC claim.

If she is receiving the Housing element as part of their UC then it may be affected by your moving in.

You can see what you might both get by putting your information into one of the online benefit calculators.
