pip question

i got a pip form to continue pip in november last year with mid december for the form to be back in at the dwp, now from january this year to the beginning of this month i,ve telephoned them about once every month to see the progress of my form to eventually be told at the beginning of this month that my form had been requested back from the pip assessors back to the dwp after ringing the dwp to find out why it was requested back i was told by the dwp that my pip claim ends on the 17th of this month then will start again on the 17th of this month, my mobility has changed since i was last assessed in 2016 for the worse, my wife gets carers allowance which will also be affected, anyone else had similar? and would this also mean i,d have to start off a complete new claim?. Hi Gordon, just a quick update for anyone who is or had similar experience to mine, i telephoned the dwp regarding my pip claim to be told they are now extending the claim for a further 6 months. Logan.
