Hi there. I sent of my PIP MR letter on 05/05/20 special delivery to reach DWP by next day 1pm however I just checked the status of my letter on 08/05/20 and it says it is still in their system. Now the monthly deadline is 11/05/20. Now i'm worried that it may arrive late due to the delays with Coronavirus. Should i worry? What should i do? Btw i do have proof of postage.

Hi Joey123
The first thing I would do is check on line that it has been delivered and then follow up with a call to DWP just to get it confirmed that they have received it.
We are hearing on this forum delays in DWP registering forms on their system, but for peace of mind call DWP and ask them, also let them know that you can confirm Royal Mail had delivered it, they may ask you for the RD number.

I think what you are saying is that when you check the postal tracking service, it is saying that it is still in the postal system.
This happened to me with my letter to DWP. I complained to the post office, it appears they are not asking for signatures due to the coronavirus which while I can understand this, when you pay extra for the service you need to be able to see proof of postage.
I rang DWP and they confirmed they had received my letter so I would start with them. It may well have been delivered.
