Hi I got a payment today I didn’t expect , Assuming it’s back pay for my MR request. How long do they back pay for at the most? And is it from when I sent the forms in or when I requested the MR? Just trying to figure out what they have given me...
They delayed the result due to corona but text me it would be in 10 weeks again. So it’s been a long time due.
I’ll have to wait for the letter to see the full result but surprised they paid before telling me tbh Thanks
I have heard from a number of claimants who have received money in their bank before any letters from DWP. One claimant had received a back payment for CA in their bank a/c, when they contacted DWP, they were informed that it was a CA backdate payment, they were also informed that CA dept usually hear before PIP dept but could not tell them what if any PIP had been awarded, they have assumed they have been awarded PIP due to the large CA payment.
