I support my autistic niece. She was assessed for transfer from DLA tonPiP by a face to face appointment at the beginning of December , but has had no decision. How long Is it currently taking for the DWP to make decisions ? ( her DLA has not stopped) .
I honestly can't tell you. Someone reported today that there's was six weeks, but plenty of people like your niece are waiting to hear a considerable length of time. If you're worried then perhaps you can phone on her behalf and find out the progress of her claim and they may give you an update on when she might hear.
