Hi, does anyone know how long it takes for the DWP to process an online Carers Allowance claim currently please?

Usually it takes about 3 weeks, but these are not normal times, so it may be longer.

Cruella, I filled in the form yesterday & it said 6 weeks, but it could take longer due to Covid.

I filled in the online form on 21 May, the letter we got back from them was dated 5 June but we didn't get it until 17 June. That was pretty quick I thought with everything that's going on. After ringing ESA on 17 June, the payment was in the bank on 22 June.
