PIP AWARD REVIEW was created by Cindy

As a PIP review is carried out before your award period ends, can the results of such assessment be implemented earlier than the previous award end date?
Original award was for an enhanced rate ending in May but the assessment dropped this to a standard rate in the previous December which resulted in the lower rate coming into affect five months before the end of the previous award period.

Benefit Decisions apply from the date that they are made unless there is a good reason for another date to be used, they supersede (replace) any previous Decision, so the scenario in your post is I'm afraid correct.

Have you requested a Mandatory Reconsideration of the Decision?
