I wrote recently about the dwp stopping my appeal and awarding me the enhanced rate for bith living and mobility Originally i got 9 points for living and 12 for mobility After the reconsideration the living went up to 11 points Today i recived the letter saying they were stopping my appeal and having looked again at everything which i thought they did on the reconsideration. My points for living componant to 17, how could they have gotten it so wrong at first, my points have nearly doubled Has anyone else had this
Your question is an impossible one to answer. Yes, sometimes the DWP do change their minds and the points change drastically for an appeal. What the numbers are I can't tell you, but you're certainly not the first person to report this, nor will you be the last.
Congratulations on your award.
