Reaching State retirement age before PIP decision

Reaching State retirement age before PIP decision was created by Anne Mackay
I registered my PIP claim in Dec 2019. submitted claim form 31st Jan 2020 , reached state retirement age in May 2020 before claim was assessed or decided. What happens now? Will it still be assessed or do I have to apply fr Attendance Allowance?

Your claim was already in, so it should proceed. You can always ring to check the progress of your report and have them confirm that.
