Hi,
My friend is in receipt of UC and gets LCW addition. He has just qualified for PIP daily living. Under ESA, he would have qualified for the SDP. Is he now able to change his UC claim to ESA on the basis that he would be eligible for SDP under the old system?

Thanks Gordon.
So now my friend who would have been in WRAG on ESA but is in equivalent on UC, now he gets 11 points daily living there’s no additional money or premium that would be added to his UC?
