Mandatory reconsideration Pip was created by sully32
Hi asking for a relative.
She applied for pip back in march had a paper based decision, no mobilty and lower rate daily living.
We requested a mandatory reconsideration quoting what she should have been awarded and the reasons why it only took 3 days from postings the letter to get a text to say they had received our request wich I was surprised how quick that was .
Do you have any idea as to how long it's taking for a decision MR are currently taking ? Thank you

Hi Sully32

Prior to the lockdown MR Decisions were taking around 10-12 weeks.

There is no required timescale for an MR to be completed within so there is little pressure that you can bring on the DWP yourself,

I cannot give you a time scale as it varies across the regions, members on this forum will be able to tell you how long they have waited.

Have you asked DWP for a copy of the assessors report (PA4 V3)?
