Hi just to let you know had phone assessment for ESA on Monday at eleven .Did not last long.About 20mins.Dont know if that's a good thing.

From what we have seen, the length of the call is not indicative of what the recommendation will be. I'm afraid Decisions are taking at least 16 weeks at the moment.

Hi just to let you know have received letter today saying from the 23rd May will get 113.55 a wk. as they have put me in support group. In the letter it says the amounts on this page apply from 23rd May to December 4th.Idont understand why there a date in December also is it worth asking for the report or should i just be grateful i got this first time.

That is really terrific news, well done and congratulations. I would ask for a copy of the assessors report just for your record.
ESA Decision do not include an end date or award length, the award is indefinite with scheduled reassessment, as a result, you cannot appeal the "length" of the award. Now you have received your decision letter you can call DWP and request a copy of the ESA85/ESA85A Medical Report which would have been compiled by The Assessor.
