I’ve received my PIP six month extension letter today, changing the dates from Oct. 2020 to April 2021.
My question is - their instructions advise doing nothing if I haven’t received an award review, but I’m not sure I trust them. Should I be requesting a new application to give myself the best chance?
If it makes a difference, this is my first PIP review, but I was previously on DLA. My award was for five years, and it was paper based with one short face to face interview.
If you have not already received an AR1 Review form then you do not need to do anything until you do, providing the current crisis eases then you should receive the form in October but check back regularly as the DWP may announce further delays.
